Serving together

Serving as a family has been such a huge blessing.

Last summer the kidDOS started telling us that they wanted to teach little kids. They wanted to teach the Bible to others. As you can imagine we were touched by their request. And we wondered how can that happen.
After several weeks of requests, I decided to approach the Sunday school preschool coordinator at our church. Her answer was, "We normally only allow children to serve until they are in 6th grade. But since you both will be with them, maybe we can make an exception. I will have to ask for special permission." So we waited. The response after several weeks was, "Yes, you can do it". So our commitment of teaching a 3 year old class every Sunday started.
Papito leads the prayer time with a puppet lion. Princesa teaches the memory verse. Principe teaches the gospel. And I do the Bible story. We all participate in the games, craft, snack and worship time. This entire year has been filled with fun memories as we learn to work together, as we serve others, and as we see the little children in our class grow.

Are there any ideas you have for learning to work together as a family?
Smiles,
