The kidDOS are now five and a half years old. The year children their age go to school.

Give us today our daily...

Jesus taught his disciples to pray: "Give us today our daily bread"

I have been asking God what does this prayer means for us when we have so much abundance. Our pantry can literally keep us alive for 3 months.

In my search i learned that for us it means a constant dependance on our Heavenly Father, as if we had to wait from him for the daily meal. I have come to develop a new appreciation for a continual dependance on God. I desire to learn to wait on Him for direction, for wisdom, for grace, for right words, for the right timing, for solution to problems, for change in the heart of people. I desire to live in complete dependency on God when we have much more than what we need but are expectant to see God move in supernatural ways.

I desire for the kidDOS to learn to depend on God in everything that they are called to be and do. My new prayer for us is "Give us today our daily portion"
