Good night...

Reading is becoming a reality step by step.

We have have so much fun playing all kinds of reading games. And suddenly they spell a word, put it together and say the word...followed by, "I can read"

• We started with upper case letters - a wrong start, but anyhow, it did help.
• Then we followed it with the sounds for each letter. Advancing well here.
• Then we added the lower case letters. This is where we should have started.
• Then practicing how to sound things together, faster and faster.
• And little by little, they have been doing it by themselves.

This was a very fun activity. We made a card for all the words of the "Good Night Gorilla" book. Then the kiddos had to find the words by reading them and putting them in the correct order.

The kiddos also loved finding the balloon in all of the different pages  :)
