Vacation this year gave us an opportunity to spend time all together as extended family. Abuelito and abuelita only speak Spanish, and grandma only speaks English. This made the perfect situation for "testing week" of Simultaneous Bilingualism. And we did great!
It was great to hear the kidDOS switch from one language to another with no problem. They also helped interpret. There was no lack of vocabulary or expressions in either language. What a joy to see it in action.
The best gift of all was when my mom said that the twins spoke as good Spanish as my nephew in Mexico (who is the same age as Principe and Princesa).
