The young and the old

“‘Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord." Leviticus 19:32

I have been looking for ways to serve our community with the kidDOS. I have had to wait for a while since they were little. But now that they are becoming "big" kids, it is easier to find some opportunities.
We visited a nursing home and had a great time. We created crafts with some elderly people. We shared our treasures with them. We greeted them and talked to them. And the children played balloon toss among them.
There is so much to learn about serving others. But little by little we continue to grow in love and respect for all.

What are some ideas of service you have tried with your little ones?

    Magnífico. Me encantó la idea de que vayan a los asilos. Los felicito y deseo que ese corazón cultivado en misericordia sea recompensado con bendiciones que nunca terminan.
