We love music

It seems like we are all born with music within us. Music changes our state of mind, moves our body and connects us with one another and even with God in ways that are special.

Principe loves guitars and all musical instruments. Every Sunday when we go to church he names all the instruments on the platform. He counts how many of each one there are and he enjoys listening to the music. He constantly mimics playing guitar, drums or piano at home. When we listen to music he likes to try to guess which instruments are playing.

Princesa loves to sing and dance. Often times when she listens to music she starts clapping and dancing. Then she asks all of us to clap with her. At home or in the car she sings for us the “Hello everybody” or the Elmo song naming each of us (mami, papito, Principe & even Sparky).

Our music enjoyment has been enhanced with a weekly appointment to our music class. Music Together has been a great avenue to channel the love for music and dance.
We love our teachers, but our new teacher this semester has made a special connection with Princesa.  :)
Our school is a beautiful place to go and learn. We are looking forward to next semester, when we will join the big kids' class and learn about and play a different instrument every week.

What are some of your favorite kids classes?

  1. Hola Amiga!

    Those Kiddos have beautiful eyes!!!

    Gabriela
