Silencio ... Quiet game

Our new game these days has been "Quiet"

Contrary to my prediction, Principe loves it, but Princesa prefers not to play. She just does it because she is expected to.  The game consist of sitting for an agreed amount of time, without talking or moving. They are expected to sit with folded hands and quietly wait. Our time goal is 5 minutes, right now we are at 2 minutes.

I heard the idea from a friend. She uses this handy game, when they find themselves in a place where there is need for silence. 

The game happily ends with a big celebration, proceeded by a surprise. (Surprise for the kidDOS is 1 Jelly Belly).

Do you know of any fun games that develop desired characteristics in our children?  I'd love to hear about them.   :)
