We are so looking forward to Christmas. There has been enough anticipation. As the month of December has started, so our counting down the days and the retelling of the Christmas stories.

The view of our Christmas Tree |
We said good bye to Thanksgiving by taking all the Christmas decor out. And the kidDOS enjoyed the boxes the best. :)

We worked in our countdown calendar. Again this year we are following mainly the ideas from
Joyful Learning Website. I like all of her ideas and appreciate her pictures, that helps me visualize what she describes in the plan. The main change I did to her ideas, is that instead of the 25 loop Patterned Chain, we created a framed countdown calendar. The idea I got from another mom. Made with clothes pins covered with some scratch ribbon.
While I worked in the final part of our Countdown frame, the kidDOS used scissors for the first time. They loved the experience, and they felt so grown up. Up to this point I had not allow them to touch scissors before.

Princesa did not wanted to be pictured... but Principe was happy to smile for all. :) |
The most wonderful part of Christmas is Jesus. We are attempting to completely focus on him as we celebrate this season of true love, compassion and salvation.
Have a Merry Christmas,
Amiga Mami E,
ReplyDeleteSiempre quiero saber de ti. Esta temporada está rica en enseñanzas. La van a pasar súper cada vez.
E, te ves hermosísisma en la pic. :)
Gabriela
