Thank you grandma for creating such beautiful handmade cloth letters for us to play with.
The kidDOS had fun organizing all the letters in alphabetical order around the table. Then they sang the ABC song round and round.
Another fun game is to place the letters all over the floor. I call a name and the kidDOS walk around the room to find it. A third game is to place the letters in a line at one end of the room, give the children cards with the lower case version of the letter and have them go and match the upper case with the lower case.
Every little activity that reinforces their knowledge and familiarity with letters is helping them master the complicated art of reading.
Do you have another idea of how to use letters like these ones to help the children learn in a fun way?
