Gymnastics, Olympics and Prayer

One of the first group classes the kidDOS participated in was a tumbling gymnastics class where parents and children work together to master new skills.

That fist class took place when they were very little, like 18 months. We have done gymnastics class since then.
Our first day at gymnastics

This past summer with the experience of the Olympics, Princesa has develop an even bigger desire to learn gymnastics. There was so much anticipation before our first class this fall session.

As she would ask me almost every day about when class would start, I explain to her that she could ask Jesus in prayer about providing her the opportunity to start classes soon. Every night before sleeping as we close our bedtime together in prayer, Princesa was consistent in remembering to include her prayer request for gymnastics class.

Our class this fall is a year around program in which skills continue to develop from week to week and the same group of children works together the entire year. That first day was so memorable for the four of us that both, Papito and I, attended and watched the class. In this class parents now stay behind the glass and children participate by themselves. Princesa was so happy; it is hard to explain in words her exuberant joy. Now her prayer every night is one of thankfulness. Princesa is very consistent in saying “Gracias Jesus por gymnasia”.   :)

The Bible say that “From the lips of children and infants, you, Lord, have called forth your praise”. I am so blessed to see our kidDOS grow and mature academically, physically, mentally and above all I am very blessed to see them grow in relationship and love for Jesus.

Thank you God for the gift of children. Even more, thanks for the gift of eternal life.
Have you experienced spiritual life?
