We are having a lot of fun learning about the First Thanksgiving.
We watched several very cool videos that helped us understand the history and life of the first pilgrims that arrived to the Americas in hope of freedom to worship the Creator God.
Our three favorite videos:
- The Mayflower Voyagers by Peanuts
- William Bradford by Inspiring Animated Heroes &
- The collection of Videos by Scholastic filmed at the Plimoth Plantation in Massachusetts.
Together with some friends we created a bountiful garland of maize.
We dressed up with Pilgrim hats.
And I made for the kidDOS a funny Jumping Jack Pilgrim that stays at the bottom of the stairs. The kidDOS have had fun pulling the string to make the pilgrim jump every time they come up or down the stairs.
