Ice Cream Factory Field Trip

I scream
You scream
We all scream for ice cream

Principe and Princesa love ice cream, and we had a very fun day when we spent time to learn how to make ice cream at the local factory.

The day before the trip the kiddos were talking a lot about it. They were sure the factory was going to be very cold. Both of them wanted to wear long pants, long sleeves and make sure to bring their jackets on such a day. :)  I think they were a little disappointed when they realized temperatures at the factory were in fact kind of hot, and they could not use their jackets.
It is amazing how the kiddos have grown. Now they can listen longer, learn and interact. At the field trip there was a presentation, and they did fabulous!
Of course the best part was having a taste of delicious vanilla and chocolate ice cream, with colorful chocolate sprinkles.
The adventure ended by enjoying the playscape area with some of our favorite friends.  :)

Our next project is to use grandma's gift at home. The playful ice cream maker. Add the ingredients and have the kiddos play with it in the backyard until we get ice cream.  That sounds like fun!
Today we are given from our Father Above a wonderful day with the opportunity to learn. Let's take advantage of every moment.

What are you learning today?
